Top Trends for Home Decor

I’m a restless soul and am constantly updating my home (and wardrobe!). It’s easy to do without breaking the bank and gives an instant facelift to any space.

In case, you are looking to make some updates to your home? Now is a great time to do it.!

You have probably spent a fair amount of time at home quarantined due to the COVID19 pandemic so have a good sense of what is working and what needs a refresh.

Check out these top home decor trends from the virtual Spring High Point Market. I hope they inspire you for your home updates or you can always contact me and I’m happy to help too!

1. Curvy Silhouettes

Inspired by the 60s and 70s, rounded furniture is making it’s way back but with a modern twist. In furniture, we are seeing upholstered pieces like sofas, chaises, and benches designed with undulation and asymmetry as guidelines.

3. Rattan

Rattan offers a warmth and charm that can be used in a variety of styles. It’s suggestive of warmer climate and is showing up a lot, in both woven and wavy forms. Here are some of my favorite rattan pieces to use for your home refresh.

4. Hexagonal Shapes

Whether it’s used as the base for a dining table or fused together for a cocktail table, the hexagon is the shape of choice for case goods this year.

5. Yellow

Yellow is the color of flowers, lemons, and sunshine, offering fresh appeal in each of its many variations. This sunny hue is sure to give your home a happy vibe! I am particularly happy to see this color popping up everywhere as it is personally one of my faves!
